Graduated in Psychology - Bach. and Lice. at University of Philosophy of Recife - PE, Class of 1972.
Post-graduated in Social Psychology (Specialization), 1973 and in Social Anthropology
(Master Degree), in 1987.
Associate Professor Level IV, retired from the Federal University of Pernambuco, on Social Psychology and Hospital Psychology. Created and supervised a Trainee Program for students graduating on Psychology at the Clinics Hospital of the UFPE (Federal University of Pernambuco).
Qualified as a Practitioner in Holotropic Breathworktm Certificate of Training by Grof Transpersonal Training, November of 1998, in Brazil.
Participated as Facilitator, in Holotropic Breathwork at the workshop for the International Congress of Transpersonal Psychology in Lisbon - Portugal, April of 1998.
He was Coordinating, in Brazil, of the Grof Transpersonal Training program, from February / 1999 to May / 2001, having already coordinate and participated as facilitador one in the modules:
- "The Cosmic Game: Explorations on the Human Consciousness Frontiers", given by Stanislav Grof and Tav Sparks in Goiania, GO, Brazil, on February of 1999;
- "The Practice of Holotropic Breathwork", Part A, given by Tav Sparks and Jill Moore in Goiania, GO, Brazil, on July of 1999;
- "The Practice of Holotropic Breathwork", Part B, given by Tav Sparks and Jill Moore in Goiania, GO, Brazil, on August of 1999;
- "Architecture of Psychopathology", given by Stanislav Grof and Tav Sparks in Goiania, GO, Brazil, on September of 2000.
Works as a psychotherapist for adults. Co-ordinates and facilitates groups of Holotropic Breathwork.
